Last night George came back earlier than I thought. He told me he scolded 15 years old boy who played with him hahaha. Okayyy... my husband is such a teenager.
Today we went to visit Pooh and his host family house. We get lost for a little bit because there're many same street name. Pooh, Jacob and Kerry were preparing food and present for the communion party this evening.
Pooh showed us his bedroom and the crock pot that he bought back to Thailand. That's really funny and unusual for a teenager boy to buy crock pot.
I asked him and he said he loves food that Kerry cooks and he will cook it in Thailand when he goes back. He also note the recipes for the menu he likes.
After he showed us the house, he played with dog. There're one dog and one cat in the house. The dog is very cute and active all the time but the cat ran back to hide and sleep. Pooh said the cat sleeps all the time.
Pooh is very helpful around the house. He help Kerry surprise Jacob, hide the present. When Kerry was in the kitchen, he went to see if she needs help. When we went outside to play with the dog, he cleans up dog poop without anybody tells him to. George asked him if it's his house duty but he said 'it's everyone duty'
Pooh takes the big brother role in the house. He takes care of Jacob. It's so cute when he told Jacob not to play an airplane inside the house or protect Jacob from ruining his own surprise.
Around 2:30pm. Kerry's parent and cousins came to the house. Kerry's mom had an Easter egg for Pooh and Jacob. There're his favorite candy and toy inside.
After a while, they started to eat dinner. Pooh showed us the bean and bacon that he loves. He said 'yesterday he ate all of it, a big pot' and he didn't eat much lunch because he wanted to eat more for dinner hahaha. So greedy!
We left his house around 3 pm. and we went to have dinner with Kay + Jim Larson and Sarah+Tim Kupsky at Rupp's. This place is famous about prime rib. Everybody got it but I don't eat beef so I got pork chop.
The beef is huge! I think it's 1 kg. per piece. Nobody in our table can finished it. We took it home. We went to get some drinks and talk after dinner and then we came home.
George and I stopped to by food at Festival. I have been thinking about making Thai spicy food for a while but every time I look at the price of herb here. I give up. Basil is so cheap in Thailand and I never spend any money buying it because it's easy to grow. We have 2 of them in the yard. But here a small amount of it costs 3$. I can't take it. I think Pad Ka Pao have to wait. I was going to share it to Jean. Sorry Jean~
