Roller Skate #2

Today we have a meet and greet again. We went to roller skate. June, Didi, Carrot, Fah, Pooh and Win joined us.

They talked to each other about theie host family and I got a chance to talk to the kids and give them suggestion.

Win is really happy. I heard he told his friends and his brother about his life.

He told me some funny story like he asked his host family to make fried egg but it came out to be scrabble egg and he has to show how the fried egg looks like. He said his host has a fine jusmine rice but the don't know how to cook it so he cooked it for them. He told me about he asked them for tomato sause and they showed him 10 different kind of tomato sauce. He kept saying it's liquid but they didn't know until Jame, his host brother said KETCHUP!

Pooh said his host mom is healthy. His house near Copp so they can get fresh veggie and food everyday. He has whole grain cereal for breakfast. He lose weight now.

His Thai parent worried about him. So I talked to Pooh to speak out if he wants anything or if he feels something. But clearly he is doing it :)

He told me not to worry. He said he is now comfortable and he isn't shy to ask for what he wants.

George and I knows that sometimes it's not always easy. But those hard stuffs can teach you many things. Pooh learn to fix his problem and now he is happy and confident. We just need to give him a try and let him know that he is surround by people who care about him.

Carrot is very fine and happy. I think when Carrot was younger she was exactly like her younger host sister. They both are crazy.

June and Didi has nothing to worry. They are fine. We talked to June's host mom a little bit. She told me that she tried to give June something to do everyday so she doesn't feel lazy or bored.

Fah is happy too. She told me she eat rice a lot but it is Japanese rice. She looks so funny when she is skating. She looks like a duck but she try hard.

I don't understand them sometimes. They told me they don't talk to the parent much because they have nothing to talk (same with the blogs) but I think what they told me is a lot to talk. These stories weren't on their blogs too.

Anyway, I can't put the pictures today but I will upload it tomorrow. (I hope)
