Roller Skate, Lincoln Zoo

Yesterday, we're hanging around at the library all afternoon.

Kay came to the library to meet George and I. We had a lot of fun talking and gossiping.

We let the kids choosed the restaurant for dinner. June and Didi choosed Taco Bells so we went to eat at Taco Bells. I ordered Nacho but it was too big. I couldn't finish it. It didn't take much time to eat.

I think it's June and Didi's advantage that they came here before and they know what they like so they get to choose food or place because other kids are too young or they have no idea what they want.

We went to Rollaire Skate Center right away. It hasn't open yet. We had to run back to the van and wait in their. Around 10 minutes before the open time. We saw a lot of American kids wait in the line. We didn't want to stand in the cold so we wait until the open time but it ends up waiting outside anyway because the line was very long.

We found Carrot's hos family when we were in the line. George introduced Carrot to her host family but she was so shy. I haven't seen Carrot shy before hahaha. Carrot told me she doesn't want to play skate but I told her to try. Just because she never play it before doesn't mean that it's not fun. (I think she just shy to fall)

Win, Pooh and Fah's host family also came. Fah did a great job talking to her host. She's not only answer the questions but she had conversation with them. She told me her host sibling seem shy. American can be shy too! They have to work it out.

Not only the new host family who came but also the old host too. June and Didi host family joined skate last night. In's host family didn't come because they're still in vacation in Maxico. Dada and Japan host also busy.

Pooh and Win were good at skating. George told me Win can go very fast and he joined the race.
Carrot kept talking about she can go very fast and then fall.
No matters what, spending time with best friends is always fun.
Seem like all of them had fun last night. I didn't really know much because the table I sat far away from them. I had to stay with all their bags, phones and camera.

In left her camera on the table and didn't tell anybody expected me or George to see and keep it for her but we didn't. We didn't know it was her. After she came back from skate she asked me about her camera. I asked George and he said somebody found it, go get it at the counter.

I had a talk with In that she can't just put her stuffs randomly like that. I'm not gonna know and George is not gonna know. If she want me or George to keep it for her, she has to say it and give it in my hand.

We got home around 9:30 pm. George saw a lot of stars so he stopped and made me get off to see the stars with him. It was beautiful (I saw it once last year) but watching stars outside with -10c temperature was hard.

This morning, June, Didi and Carrot came to help in the kitchen again. We cooked bacon and pancake.
George was supervise them. I asked them how was their pancake. They said it melt in their mouth. I wasn't sure it means it's still wet or it's good.

We went to Lincoln Zoo in Manitowoc before heading to the library today. I'm surprised that the kids still excited about the zoo. It's not a big zoo but there're animals in there that doesn't exist in Thailand.

Didi Carrot June and Dada also were excited about the ice. They tried it and they think it's tasty. Dada wasted her coins in the machine at the Zoo when she tried to get souvenir. The coin didn't go down to the machine and Zoo's staff wasn't around.

We're at the library now and the kids already updated their blogs and sat around playing game.
George just told them to find things to do. Books, movies, etc...
There're so many things in this library. They'll never be bored. They're bored right now because they didn't look around for new things but looking down on their phone playing game.
I don't want to be mean or bossy,  telling anyone to do this or that but they're really need to be pushed.

Tonight we're going to play bowling. Kay Larson will join us. The girls pray for Joey to comes. Hahaha
Some of the host family will join too.

Our plan for tomorrow is going to Henning Cheese and Fieder Farm and on Friday we will take the kids to the school in Kiel for a day start from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm. They'll get a change to present their Ice-Breaker and get use to with American school.

Saturday, the kids will join Pancake Breakfast activity with the church near by. They will help them cook and meet the kids for the school in Kiel again.

This is gonna be a busy week before handing them to their host family. I hope their jet lag will be done soon.
