Today we went to the library in the morning and then we went to Gene's school to talk to the principal. We talk about going to present the others new school in the area and let them tell us what's the school want.We also talk about Gene on this trip. We suggest to make Gene goes to the music class. Maybe he'll has more fun. He's really quiet now.
We're also talk about Jean last year. He wants to study here but his grade is very low. We're going to set Skype interview for him on Friday. Hope he will do well.
It's nice weather in the morning but after two hours. It's raining and it's been raining all day. I feel cold again. I think I like it better when it's just cold all day so I don't have to take off, put it back on again and again.
We went shopping at Festival. We bought a lot of soda and food. I found my favorite soda. It's soda cream. I remember I love it last trip.
After shopping, we went to visit Sai and her house. She looks so happy with her host family and the dogs.
She plays with Bylee, host mom and dad naturally. She eat dinner and when she doesn't like it. She knows what she can eats instead. She's very good at adapting. I think that's why she told her mom she wants to stay here forever.
We talked to the Kupsky for a little bit and leaved the house around 5:30 pm. We went to dinner and 8th and York. It's a place that they said they have Thai food. George's ex-teacher came to meet us there. She went to Thailand to teach at George center couple years ago.
8th and York is a nice restaurant. George told me normally Thai food is kind of hi-so in America. I think maybe because Thailand is very far and ingredient might be expensive.
George was really hungry I think. He ordered a lot of appetizers. Lab Moo, Spring rolls and Moo Sa Tay made me full and my main course was Kang Ka Ti Kai. You know.. chicken and coconut spicy soup. It's very spicy and tastes like Thai food because their chef is Thai. George's main course was Mas Sa Mun Neur. George's friend and her daughter got Pad Thai.
George loves their Lab Moo. It's perfect for American. He thinks it's better when he eats it in Thailand. I don't like their rice and sticky rice. It's old and wet but the food is good. The price is not too expensive. It's about 7-15 $ But I think I like to eat my food better :P
Joanna gave me and George the wedding present. It's party dish set. I like it. We talked a lot and I have fun making joke with her.
I went home around 8:30 pm. I watched Grey Anatomy Season 9. When I was going to sleep, George came home so I watched Game of Thone Season 3 with him and then go to bed.

Oh! You met Johanna? She used to join a party at my house and go shopping with my wife here. Is she doing fine?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure when you mentioned "Kang Kati Kai? Is it the same as Tom Ka Kai (ต้มข่าไก่)? While I was studying over there in Washington, D.C., my American room mates always asked me to cook Tom Ka Kai for them. Most American love it ka.
