Millenium Park, The Bean, Navy Pier ,Willis Tower and Chicago Famous Pizza.

Today I woke up at 6 am. Gam,Didi,June and In woke up at 5:30am. I think Gam work up a little bit early than the others. We ate breakfast and packed snack, drink for the trip and then meet at George's room.

I didn't sleep well last night. I normally sleep at 11-12 o'clock lately so it's hard for me to try to sleep at 8-9 pm. I felt a little tired this morning.

George talked to the kids about travel in Chicago for a while. We talked about we want them to pay attention on things around them today. Not just talking to each other about guys and things in Thailand and gave example that George and I work really hard to take them to places. So May and Gene play guitar, if you two try to wrote a song for 6 months to show us and the day that you play on the stage we walked away and talk talk talk. What do you feel? We also talk about what they should do if they get lost. After that we gave them CTA passes to the kids and move!

We walked to CTA station which is 400 meter from the hotel. When we were waiting to cross the road, George saw In's backpack look pretty heavy so he checked it out and it came out that In carried everything for 3 days in Chicago with her. I have to walk her back to the hotel and unpack. I told her next time she should ask questions if she's not sure what she should bring with her and also our fault that we didn't check her backpack before we leave the hotel.

We finally got on the train. It's a long line but only take 25 minutes to get into the center of Chicago. We changed to another line to get to Millenium park. We visited Cloud Gate or The bean and Crown Fountain. I really like Could Gate. It's so cool. We had snack in the park and took a lot of photo. I also like the snack that we packed. It's cheese and cracker.

We walked around until 11:00 am. George and I did some of test for university student like "Write your super secret and Write the word from each picture. It's kind of fun.

After that we were going to take the bus to Navy Pier but most of the kids wanted to walk because they wanted to see the scene in Chicago and it's not a long way( 2km)

We walked and stopped for some shopping and we arrived Navy Pier around 11:45 am. We let the kids walk around inside the building for 30 minutes and then we met for lunch at 12:15 pm. I ate fried chicken menu kid. It's A LOT of food. I couldn't finished it. Also everybody who ordered kid menu but the adult menu were smaller. I have no idea why hahaha. We put all the leftover food together and go to theme park area.

In wanted to go to the toilet so I walked her downstairs to the only toilet in Navy Pier. I found Popcorn shop where is very famous for Thai people and they said it's the most yummy popcorn in the world hahha Sound amazing huh? (Garrett Popcorn). So I bought it. It's $5 for a small bag. I was so excited to show George and all the kids. George said it's tasty like I said but some of the kids felt like it's too sweet. Pokpong doesn't like it. How could it be? He likes to eat everything. Gam tried to steal from me. She used her begging face.
Oh and I can't believe In loved those ride so much. I thought she will be scared.

There're only 2 rides open in Navy pier. I think all theme park in this part of American will be open in the middle of May or beginning of June. (Summer Time) It's different from Florida where opens everyday because of the better weather.

Anyway, the kids seem to have fun with one of those ride. They rode it for 3-4 times and 1 time for fairy wheel. Gam played 4 times and she came down with motion sickness. She had a bad feeling on the bus and train after the rides. I think maybe her body wasn't so good today so those rides made her sick.
Pokpong tried to convince me to play with him but it's for BABY. Hahahah

We spent an hour in theme park and we took off to Willis Tower at 2 pm. We took the bus this time. It's empty because we're in the beginning of the bus then we took the train for 3 or 4 stations. It's very close but the sky train in the Loop is so old and slow. It looks like Harry Porter Train Station in the movie which is kinfd of beautiful.

 



We arrived at Willis Tower at 3 pm. There's a few people in the line so we didn't have to wait at all. We bought the tickets and watched short movie about the building then took the elevator to the 103th floor. The elevator is SO FAST. It takes 3-5 minutes to get there. We walked around. The girls went straight to shopping. We took photo and some group photo. Today we wear George's green shirt. I'm so sad because when Bangpun,Sai and Jinny made people on the train mad because they're talking too much or fall down on them because they're talking and didn't catch the train. I felt like i have to take responsibility for that too.



Bangpun, Jinny and Sai talked a lot. George has to remind them every hour to see the view on the train or see the beautiful a long the way. At one point, on the way to Willis Tower, George can't be nice anymore because George and I saw a lot of beautiful things on the way but they're talking non stop about Thai dessert in the back of us. I know that George's going to say something to them. They have too much fun talking.

We spent a couple hours on Willis Tower because we had an reserve the table at Chicago Famous Pizza opposite Willis Tower and the kids seem to be tired to go to other place and then have to come back here again. We decided to call the restaurant and change the time to 6 pm.

We walked to kill some time and went to eat dinner at Giordano's Famous Chicago Pizza. It's the same place that Bangpun's host family recommend. We ordered some appetites and 2 big pizza. Bangpun, Sai, May and Gam couldn't finish one piece. Hahaha I told them we'll not leave until they ate all of it.(My family did that to me and it makes me always think before I order.)

Chicago Pizza is different from normal pizza. It's very thick with cheese and they put meat under the flavor. It's tasty but we ate a lot of cheese before pizza came so we're almost done with cheese. George can eat 2-3 pieces by the way ;P

We're so tired at this point. While we're waiting for pizza, we're almost sleep. After dinner, we walked to the train and went back home at 8 pm.

Oh on the way back in the platform, George accidentally gone in to the elevator with half of the kids and leaved me and another half of the kids. So I have to take those kids (Gam, Pokpong,June,Didi May and Sai) to the lower floor by myself. I step in to the elevator, smell pee (as always,not weird) but what weird was I felt sticky on my shoes and I was telling myself ... No No it's not gonna be PEE.... Akkkkkk Geeeezzzzz PEEEEEEEE and suddenly we scream loudly. I tried to push the button but it didn't move so we went out from that elevator and laugh a lot. We scared and didn't want to come back to that one again but it didn't go down so we have to wait until somebody downstairs got it and we got the other one.

I just realized that the elevator didn't move because I pressed the wrong floor(the floor that we're) so it couldn't move hahahaha. This is so funny. I can't stop laughing all the way back home.

OK. Now is Drama part.
We came back to the hotel and feeling tired. I took a shower and was typing my blog on my computer. Suddenly Bangpun came to my room and talk to Gam quietly "Gam, Please come to my room, we're all crying, May's going to cry now. We'd not make it without somebody else."

I was thinking after Gam went with them.... If something really serious happened, why didn't they tell me? Ummm maybe it's not something serious...Oh or maybe they're crying because missing host's family. So I went to listen in front of the room hoping to taking video but what I heard was some problem that I don't really understand. George came to me and told me to find out so I knocked the door and asked them what happened. They said May's phone charger which is the only one charger in for both of her phones are broken. It was fine in the morning but now it's cut buy something.

Well, so what? The maid might accidentally use the vacuum and cut it on the floor or something and didn't want to get in trouble so we just called the hotel and ask for help....? Should it be that easy?

No... They talked themselves up to big scary ghost drama and CRY. They complained about microwave and refrigerator didn't work and they smell something bad from air con. So...It's a BAD DAY BAD LUCK   and it might be GHOST. Oh god...


Basically, we're all tired today. So I give them the easy solution.. just call the lobby and tell them to fix what they want. and now I saw the house keeper gives them new charger. If they tell her about smell or microwave or aircondition. I'm sure she will take care of it. I wouldn't never stay in a smell room and complaint to myself and hope that the smell will gone by itself.

PROBLEM SOLVED



They made me thinking about when I was 13yo and I was in broading school with my gang, 6 girls who didn't have TV to watch and only thing we do when we're in the bedroom was TALK. One day after our parent dropped us at the school. One of my friends who her parent lived in Prachaub 4 hours from Bangkok started to cry and talk about worrying that her dad might drive home with accident.... Well the other friend from Ayuthaya started to say she worried about her dad driving home too it's 1 hour from Bangkok. And they started to cry, not so long 5 of them cry and I was so confuse about should I worry... my mom lived in Bangkok..She had to drive home from Bangkok to Bangkok. Oh my accident might happened when she stuck in traffic!!!! Motorcycle can hit her car oh NO!!

Anyway, last 2 years I went to Phukadeung with my friends and we had nothing to do only talk and talk so we built ourselves to scare the elephants and ran and scream all the way we walk (around 30 miles) But this time we're grow up and we create amazing page on Facebook that more than 60,000 people liked it and a lot of magazine and game book  want us to sell ads or somebody ask permission  to make a movie. It's so funny.

Last day in Wisconsin, Head to Chicago

Yesterday we went to Four Season Family Restaurant around 6:30 pm. to eat dinner with Mrs. Grady (Dada and Japan's host family) and Japan's parent who come from Thailand. Food was so big so nobody can eat all of it. I ate fried chicken. There're 3 piece of chicken in my plate, soup and salad. George ate fish and fried. He took fish back home too.  We talked and have fun. I sent Japan's mom and dad to the wrong school hahaha.

We came home around 8:30 pm. George and I watched Game of Throne season 3 ep 4 and watched the animation movie that George really like. It's about Giant Robot and 10 yo. boy. (George's dream to has Robot like a pet) I finished watching movie around 11 pm. and I went straight to bed but George stay up until 5 am. What's a bad boy.

we return our rental car so we won't have car anymore and then go take wedding photo with George's niece(Liz) near the lake. It's so cold! We spend about 1:30 hr. near the lake and it makes me tired and done. I don't want to do more. I feel really cold. My ears are hurt.

We finished early than we thought so we came to George's parent house with Liz and stay here tonight. Pokpong and In arrived at George's parent house in the same time. They say goodbye and carry suitcase to George's parent car. We had dinner together at Mr.Lucky.

Oh the photographer on our wedding day also came on the last minute to gave us photo flash drive. So I've been edited for a while and choose some of our picture in our camera and photographer's camera and posted it on my Facebook. It looks good.

Pokpong ordered a very big piece of steak. George ate buffet. I ate only half sandwich. Dan and Sarah ate small steak and rice with something. We ate and talked for a while then we went home. I went home with Dan and Sarah because they're my master. (No they have car hahaha) George, Pokpong and In walked home Hahahha.

After we got home, George and I went out to Manitowoc by ourselves to pack stuffs. George's old friend is in town so we went to see him at the Light house hotel in Two river. We spent 1 hour there and we went back to apartment. George tried to take video the moon rise on the way home but the moon didn't rise. Hahaha It's so funny.

We packed everything and finish at 11 pm. I slept at the apartment. George went back to sleep at the house with Pokpong and In and his parent. I was lonely YY

 

Today I woke up at 7 o'clock and get ready for host family to drop the kids off. George, In and Pokpong came first. After that Bangpun, Sai, Didi and everybody came. So we have Bangpun, Sai, May, June, Gam Jinny who CRY! They're so attach to host family. May wasn't look like she's gonna cry at first but when the bus comes, she started to cry and she cried a lot. June and Jinny also cried when the bus comes. Oh and we got picture and video so you'll see it very soon.

It takes 3 hours to get to Chicago. We're staying at Holiday Inn. It's a nice hotel and nice room. We keep all the big suitcases in the boy's room. So the boy room is full but they have only 3 people in there. They should be very fine. The room has 2 queen size bed so 4 girls for room will be fine. They're not big at all. But I have to sleep on the sofa YY because I'm extra 5 in one of the girl room. What's a poor girl.

We gave the kids their breakfast for 3 days because the hotel doesn't have breakfast and we think the kids will be hungry in the morning and it's probably not a good idea to wait until we go to town. There's nothing around here. We're near the airport and we don't have car. So everybody got their food for 3 days breakfast and snack. Lunch and dinner we will eat outside.

We just ate dinner. It's pizza and very spicy chicken wings. I'm so full. Today we will stay at the hotel and relax. There's swimming pool in the hotel. Some of the girls will go swimming. Tomorrow we will get up really early and go into town! Yayy


By the way, after In finished update her blog on my computer(I teach her to write her blog with vocabs she knows and spell with sound), she came to me and ask me between Boot and Sport Shoes which one is warmer? I thought she afraid tomorrow is gonna be cold so I told her Chicago is not cold so sport shoes should be fine but she said "no no I mean " Can I bring boot next year? " Ohhhww How cute.. She's thinking about next year already. Hahahah


Tonight I sleep with In, Game, Didi and Gam. Our room is quiet room. Didi and June keep eating and not stop yet. After dinner with pizza, they ate Kanor Congee and Tom Yum Kung mama noodle that I have from my brother. They also drink 2 bottles of soda. I don't know what's going on in their stomach but they eat a lot.

Tomorrow George and I planing to go to Millenium Park and Navy Pier and go to Willis Tower in the afternoon then dinner at the Chicago famous pizza opposite Willis Tower. (George looks up on weather website and seem like tomorrow is a good day. Tuesday might has shower rain and Wednesday probably rains.)

Last load of laundry..

Last night we decided to go shopping snack and breakfast for Chicago trip. The hotel we will stay doesn't have breakfast and we don't know what will be open near the area so we buy breakfast and lunch snack for the kids and us. It's better than nothing absolutely and we can't risk to wait until we get there. We're 14 people!

We bought a lot of food and snack. We came home at 11 pm. I was so sleepy. We packed food and do accounting for a while and we went to bed.

This morning I woke up at 8 am. I cook breakfast and lunch and pack it for today. I prepare a lot of food to George's parent house. I don't know why I feel like I've been hungry for my whole life. So I think I will eat a lot of food that we still have left before Sunday.

I don't eat it all because In and Pokpong will spend Saturday night with us so I have to cook dinner and breakfast for them. Thai Food! I think.

We went to Didi's school again to take video of her in her new class. She looks so happy and many kids talk to her and play with her. We watched Didi's play kickball with the kids. Look like the whole school play the same game together and seem like they do it everyday because they walked there and stand in their position without talking to each other. After that we went to deposit money at the bank then go to Master-car to pay for the car rental and George went to get haircut.

We came to George's parent house for the laundry. Our last load before heading to Chicago and Thailand. Not only the kids that don't want to leave their host family but me too! I love America so much. I love to be here, specially Wisconsin. People are so nice and friendly. The best thing in America that I will miss the most and the second is Customer Service. I love when we go to buy something and the staffs come and willing to help and suggest everything without getting any upset when we don't buy it.

When I was at Universal. I was looking on the map and a guy came to tell me the way without me asking. I didn't really need him actually but it's really nice. At Best Buy, when I was going to buy the camera, they don't have a camera len but they search in their system to find the store I can get and tried to ask me my address so they can check if the Len can delivery on time or if there's any store near my address. But I wasn't serious about it. So I just buy only camera and when I was waiting for Ana to pick me up, the same guy ran to me and told me that I didn't have memory card and he has a bunch of it so he gave me one for free. That's really nice. I like when people do their job as best as they can.

On the way from Chicago to Wisconsin, I told George that I'm gonna miss the customer service here. George realized he will too! He felt weird a couple day ago, he met a new lady at Petco and she help him a lot about our dog. We never get that service in Thailand. They don't feel like service but customers should service them by not asking them hard questions or disturb them when they're talking to each other.

I also will miss the weather (in Florida) hahaha. It's such a nice weather.

Today we're basically run our last minute things and we'll meet Japan's parent for dinner. They're in town. And I hope our photographer will contact us and give us the CD soon because we're leaving and I feel not so good that we have nothing.

Today, Alberto woke me up at 5 o'clock. I slept at 11 pm last night. Pam showed me how to make cake in 1 minute with microwave. I was so excited! Can't wait to show George how to make it. It's super easy and it's cake!

We went to Orlando's airport. This one I don't have to get credit cart to pay for check in bag so I didn't have any problem. But I feel confuse why the lady at Chicago acted like it's the most common thing in the whole world and I don't know it. I thought they use this system everywhere but they don't.

We passed security check and again they want to check my bag. But this airport has a different way to check my bag. They don't open it but they use tissue with some kind of liquid and whip on my bag and test it with something. I passed anyway. Oh and they don't mind you have big bottle of liquid in your bag.

We're on time at the Gate 42. I was remember the wrong number and walked to the wrong way wasting time for 10 minutes but we made it!

United Airline is late again. They have problem managing passengers to the plane. I don't understand I sit in the back of the airplane but I was the last group to get on the airplane but they didn't do it like that. So when I get in there. I don't have enough area on the head to put my carry-on so they said they will check in my bag but since I was in the back of the airplane. They can't take my bag through human traffic and I can't move to anywhere with my bag so we're stuck. What's a mess.

The plane was delay for  hour so we arrived ORD a little bit later than we planed but it's OK. We have to take a train to other terminal. My brother are going to catch another airplane to Bangkok. Finally we made it.
We checked in Korean Airline and pay for UM service. The lady was confuse about UM for 10 minutes and make super confuse face. So I said I did it before and it's possible so go ask your supervisor. She came back with paper and we're done.

I fed my brother with Mc Donald and sent him with the airline. They will take care of him every minutes. Oh I actually got the yellow bag from them. I was so happy. I like it.

I was waiting for George for an hour. He came pick me up and drove me home. On the way, he got cranky with me because I didn't prepare enough money for  the toll and he's tired so I cried. :( what's a sad say. I think I also miss my brother but when he was around he was so annoyed.

We arrived Manitowoc around 3:30 pm. and we went to June's house because it's our appointment to visit. June was watching cartoon with her host sibling. We talked about June and took video and photo. June went outside and play kickball with the kids and Ella. She decorated Ella cellphone's cover and  after that she went for a walk.

After we finished with June, we went to the Larson's house. Jean was sleeping when we're there. He slept after come back from school. Joey was working on homework and Arnold was sleeping too. I think Jean tried to hide from us in the cover haha.

We talked to Jean and the Larson for a while. Jean wanted to buy game and music stuff but he thought he might not have enough room for it because game is very big box but George and I bought 6 second bags so he can share with us.

We leaved the Larson's house around 5 pm. Kay has something to run.
We came home and I took a shower and wash my hair. I was so stinky. I didn't take a shower in the morning and I really want to.

We went to eat dinner at Galley again. I ordered Chicken with Thai spicy sauce. It's tasty. I like it but they gave me too much food. I can't finish all of it. (Again)

We're so full so George wanted to exercise at Magic card shop. He's playing game and I was working in my computer.

I can't believe George got many work done while I travel. He went to Bangpun and Didi's house to take video and photo. He also clean up the apartment and pack stuffs that we're not gonna use anymore.
I'm impressed. This's amazing.

We're going to Coffee shop to work on Emailing and etc. I can't wait to sleep. It's been a long day.

Orlando's Island of Adventure!

I woke up the same time today. I work up in the middle of the night because I felt hot and cold, hot and cold. I wasn't sure what I feel. 

I ate egg, ham and banana for breakfast. And I made ham sandwich for lunch. I heat Pizza for my brother's lunch. I put my sandwich in my bag but the pizza was hot so I leaved it on the table that I made sure dog can't reach it. 

I went to the bathroom and come back. It's gone! I asked my brother if he took it but he didn't. I thought Alberto or Pam might took it by mistake. I walked around and looking for it again and I heard plastic bag sound from a coner in the house! OMG! Chalie got it. He is an always super hungry dog. He has diseas that medicine makes him hungry. He ate all of pizza so I had to make another sandwich for Petch.

Pam gave me a sunglass so it'll help me not to get headache because the sun here is more shiny than in Thailand. They don't have polluion so the sun is very bright.

Alberto took us to Universal's island of adventure today. I felt a little bit sleepy and tired from yesterday. 

Petch was so worry about the rides because this theme park is thrilling.

We started with Harry Potter ride because Pam told us it's packed all time. We waited 1 hour for it! The entrance was so nice. It's same like in the movie. Moving photo frame talk to each other and all stuffs we see in the movie. There's a classroom that Harry, Ron and hermiony were there taking to each other. Look real but it's just 4D or 3D screen or projector. All these thing kept us having fun while we're waiting.

The ride was a 4 seat ride and the whole 4 seat is 1 piece of robot that can move along the way and 4 seats can move like a roller coastee. No 3D glasses but it's REAL. I felt like I was riding the magic broom chasing the ball and get away from the drangon. It's perfect. I can't believe we've been gone this far in technology. Amazing.

The second ride was Hulk Coaster. It's FAST since the begining and never slow down and it's long time! 

I think this is the latest coaster they built here. It's REALLY FAST. My neck almost broke. Petch felt sick after this hahaha. He took the motion sickness pills but he still got it. And because I wanted to sit in the front row on my first ride. I took 1 hour and 10 minutes so I had to pay 3 dollars for locker. Locker, you can use it for free but there's time limit that they think it's fare enough. So sad.

(I played Hulk another times before go home because we have time while we were waiting for Pam but Petxh didn't. He's done at the first time.)

We took a break, ate some snack and drink for 30 minutes then we went to Amazing Spiderman. We put 3D glasses on and get on the ride. It looks like a car. There're 3 rows and 4 seats each row. It's amazing. Look real as same as Harry but this one you wear glasses. It's a 3D and the car was moving and the screen also move sometime and some real fire. Water and hot air and shacking thing made everything perfact. Not to much but perfect and make me really feel like I was in the movie. Love it so we played the second time before go home too.

I went to Doom's Fearfall. It's a 150 feet rocket that go up and down. Peth didn't do it with me. I played alone. I think it's not so scary. I feel like riding the fairy wheel. 

Next one was Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw falls. It's a long line. We waited or 40 minutes. But after we're done. It's worth our time. We're a bit wet but it's fun! An adventure on the boat and we fall down from the top of the fall in the end. Cool! 

We went to Jurassic Park River Ride. It's same thing but bigger and wet less. A little bit too short but still fun.

We went to watch stunt show at 2 pm. It's cool. A lot of bombs and fighting but I didn't really interested. 

I went to played Dragon Challenge next to stunt show. It's another twist and loop in high speed roller coaster. I think it's thilling but can't compare with Hulk at all! (Petch didn't play it hahaha)

We played Flight of the Hippogriff. It's family-friendly coaster. Perch likes it - -" he's a baby!

We walked to Poseidon's Fury. It's a story tour. There's an actor who acts like we're going to tour this place but something went wrong. Some of angel and Poseidon came to help. There's a water tunnal which is very cool. They must use high pressure to make the hole by water and we walk through it. Also 3D water screen fighting and real fire. Cool

We found that we missed some of the ride so we walked back and play it. It's Raft ride. It makes me wet and soak! I mean I was all wet and cold but it's fun. Petch wanted to play again but I didn't want to. 

We met a lot of Thais here. Maybe 3-4 groups. 

I'm going back to WI tomorrow. So sad. I like the weather here.

I'll put pictures for these 2 days tomorrow when I have my computer. Bye!
