Patnida's Diary: I'm in Valders, WI

Finally we have arrived in USA! After long long flight about 17 hours in the plane and 28 hours in the airport. Every flight was delayed. My butt was hurt.

The kids were really excited to pass the immigration officers but most of them get through it easily except Erng and Lin hahahaha.

I don't know why it's always happened to Erng. It came to the point that they asked them about parent permission so T.George came to talk and the officer let them in Yeahhhhh

After the plane we took the van from Chicago to Valders, WI.

The weather is cold about 4-7 ํC but we are fine if we stay in the house or car. If we take a walk we have to wear a hat and jacket or we'll get too cold and die hahaha.

Yesterday, Sarah made soup for us and I cooked rice by a pot. It's not as good as it should be but still be able to eat. It's tasty but we still put a lot of salt in Sarah's soup. I think Thai like strong taste.

Today we walked to the supermarket near George 's house. Kids bought couple cheap things. They don't want to spend too much money. Good kids humm?

Fruits are really fresh and cheap here. A bag of fresh apple is about $1.99 Huge strawberry $3.99 per pound. Jean really love strawberry so he bought it. Erng and Jane bought lemonade. Baifern bought soda.

Linn wanted ice-cream so we bought a big bucket of mix favor ice-cream.

We've missed Thai food already. I want to eat something spicy so I bought big green pepper and lemon. I hope I can mix it with fish can from Thailand. Maybe I should wait until the kids go so I can eat it all myself hahahaha.

After shopping, kids wrap the gifts for host family and principal with meaning. Lin draw many pictures.

I almost forget to introduce "Pepper" He is a dog in the house. He is very friendly. I took him to take a walk with Sarah today. He knows his job very well.

All we're going to do these days is relaxing!
